Does it fit all vehicles?
The Jackstrap can be fitted on virtually any 4 wheel drive vehicle but you must be sure not to exceed 5,000 lb. total vehicle weight.

Why do I need the Jackstrap? Why can't I just use a ratchet strap or a motorcycle tie down?
You can use either and many other devices too, but they are frequently too lightweight and hard to use. We've seen everything from belts to chains used to keep a suspension from drooping. We decided to make a safe, handy tool that can be used for many purposes but is designed to support your suspension.

Are you ever going to make Jackstraps for heavier trucks?
We've already got a design but we want to see if there is any demand before we build it.

Do we need to build a super heavy duty Jackstrap?

I don't see any place to attach the upper hook on my truck. What can I do to make the Jackstrap fit?
Some vehicles don't have obvious anchor points due to unit body design (like Jeep XJ Cherokees) or spring design. On most of these rigs you can simply attach the upper hook to the coil spring. In other cases you may need to fab up a piece of flat steel with holes for attachment. One side can be bolted anywhere convenient, the other end can accept the upper hook.

My brain fell out and I used my Jackstrap as a tow strap. Naturally, it broke. What can I do?
First, remember that you can't operate machinery while using certain medications. Second, if you've had the Jackstrap for less than 1 year, you can send it back to us with proof of purchase and we'll send you a new strap at no charge.
